Most of the general aviation fleet was built before the people flying it were born. Every year another part goes from back-ordered to unavailable, and every owner of an older airplane eventually meets the bracket, trim piece, or panel that nobody makes anymore.
Open Source GA exists to capture those parts before they're gone. We rent a Creality Pika scanner, we scan parts that are mailed to our bench in Savannah, and we help owners, mechanics, and engineers turn an STL into something a shop can build. Every scan goes into a repository that any subscriber can search.

- A parts catalog you can filter by aircraft, with STL downloads.
- A document repository for the manuals, bulletins, and drawings that are hardest to find.
- A map of shops on the Shop plan, so owners can find someone nearby who does this work.
