What you're buying.

Digital files

Drawings arrive as PDF, models as STL. They're licensed for your own projects and your own airplanes, not for resale. Files stay the property of Open Source GA. STLs may still need cleanup in your CAD software before fabrication.

Making the part

Cut files assume you or your shop will do the fabrication. Match-drill mounting holes to the part you removed, and expect some trimming or sanding. If you have no local shop, an online CNC or 3D printing service will work from these files.

Installing on an airplane

Nothing here is PMA or otherwise approved for installation. Whether a part can go on a certificated aircraft is a decision for your A&P or IA under the FAA's owner-produced parts rules. Book an hour if you want to talk it through.

Need a drawing we haven't listed?

If a part is in the repository, a drawing is usually a short job away. Tell us which one and we'll quote it, or book an hour and we'll draw it together.
